DANCE
The battle between good and evil continues in the full-length ballet version of Dracula, presented by the Royal Winnipeg Ballet at the National Arts Centre this weekend. Based on the Bram Stoker classic, with choreography by Mark Godden, it’s a contemporary retelling of the bloodthirsty tale that pays tribute to the classical ballet tradition. Rife with drama, it’s also one of the most popular pieces in the Royal Winnipeg’s repertoire, a surefire sellout whenever it’s staged. Limited tickets remain for the NAC run, today to Saturday. Go to nac-cna.ca, ticketmaster.ca or the NAC box office to check on availability. Curtain time is 8 p.m. nightly.
