Trump has shown great courage

-

Re: In Trump’s Washington, a paucity of courage, May 23

The lack of courage is not to be found in Donald Trump or his supporters. Throughout Washington, courage has been replaced by a rot found in the ghost of Hillary Clinton, in the shallow shell of Barack Obama who is oblivious to the fact that he is no longer the president and in the decaying body of the DNC that committed suicide during the Democratic nomination.

When Trump decided to “Make America Great Again,” he knew he had an enormous challenge. He knew that he had to defeat 16 very experienced Republican politicians to represent his party, he had to beat Hillary Clinton. He knew, because he was not one of them, that those who control Wall Street, the military industrial complex, Hollywood, the universities and the world press would be largely against him. He ran for anyway and won. That took enormous courage.

However, little did Trump know how much more courage it would take to remain the president. Trump has refused to surrender. Call it courage, call it stubbornness, call it inner strength or call it blind faith in America, Trump has continued to slowly “Make America Great Again” while many seek to bring him down.

How Andrew Cohen would praise James Comey, Rod Rosenstein and Robert Mueller and then continue his smearing of Trump and his supporters is shameless in the extreme. Bruce Mullen, Ottawa
