Ellingson No. 7 on CFL Top 50
QB Harris also one of seven Redblacks named on TSN’s annual player ranking
Seven Ottawa Redblacks were included in TSN’s CFL Top 50 list released Tuesday.
Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly is rated the best player in the Canadian Football League, with wide receiver Greg Ellingson, at No. 7, ranking as the highestrated Redblacks player.
Other Redblacks on the list are quarterback Trevor Harris (19), receiver Diontae Spencer (24), running back William Powell (26), linebacker Kyries Hebert (28), offensive lineman SirVincent Rogers (47) and receiver Brad Sinopoli (50).
There are arguments to be made, like is Harris just the 19th-best player in the league? Don’t get too worked up, though, because it’s just a list and maybe it lights fires under those players who think they should be rated higher. Here’s the full list, from 50 to 1: 50: Brad Sinopoli, WR, Ottawa
