67’s swept away by the Storm

It went from bad to worse Sun­day af­ter­noon for the Ot­tawa 67’s, who were whacked on the road, 8-4, by the Guelph Storm.

The Storm took a 3-0 lead in the first pe­riod and led 7-1 with 4:35 left in the sec­ond. Ot­tawa goalie Michael DiPi­etro was yanked after Guelph’s fifth goal.

The 67’s got goals from Tye Fel­haber — his 47th of the year — Marco Rossi, Jack Quinn and Graeme Clarke. Fel­haber also as­sisted on Rossi’s goal to record the 250th point of his OHL ca­reer. Sasha Ch­melevski’s as­sist on Fel­haber’s goal was the 100th point of his OHL ca­reer. Cap­tain Isaac Ratcliffe led the way for Guelph with a hat trick.

The 67’s re­turn to ac­tion at home on Fri­day when they host the Peter­bor­ough Petes dur­ing Dun­der Mif­flin night at The Arena at TD Place.
