Unlock the mystery of ‘no parking’ signs

Workman Avenue, a residential street in Westboro, also received surprise “No Parking signs” (December to March) just after Christmas. I contacted neighbours in whose properties had signs placed in front of them and it seemed to be a mystery of why the signs were installed. One neighbour indicated that there was a petition and hence the new signs.

After further investigation, it seems the property owners had no idea a petition had been initiated, nor were they contacted.

I would suggest that whoever in the city makes these decisions take a look at who has signed petitions and at least inform property owners where the signs are placed.
