EILISH RELEASES BOND THEME

- Colin McClelland

Billie Eilish’s James Bond title song released this week for the imminent No Time to Die film is slow and ominous, according to Variety.

Britain’s The Telegraph said the “downbeat noir is spine-tingling,” conjuring an image of Daniel Craig’s 007 in stealth mode “perhaps rifling for some secret documents.”

Eilish, 18, shown, the youngest star to ever write and record a Bond song, will perform it at the Brit Awards in London on Tuesday. She wrote the track with her brother, Finneas O’Connell. The pair collaborated on the songs for her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which shot Eilish to international fame. Eilish won five awards — including album, song and record of the year — at this year’s Grammys.

No Time to Die opens April 10.
