No news is bad news regarding accident

Re: Egan: Killed by a wayward car on NCC path. And then silence, June 24

It has been over two months since the tragic accident on the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway pedestrian path where a pedestrian died and a cyclist was seriously injured by a vehicle. NCC and the RCMP have never provided any updated information on the driver of the vehicle or the victim and injured.

Was the driver ever charged with careless driving? How can a driver lose control of the vehicle and drive 50-60 metres off the parkway? It’s time to get answers from the NCC and the RCMP.
