Madonna tops video countdown

Madonna has topped a new poll to find the greatest video artist of all time. The singer beat out Michael Jackson and Beyoncé in the new Billboard countdown, compiled by editors and experts. A Billboard spokesperson wrote that Madonna’s videos should be acknowledged for “ascending to era-defining supremacy shortly after MTV itself.” Jackson came in second, ahead of Beyoncé. Janet Jackson and Missy Elliott also made the top five.
