RCAF BACK TO OPERATION INSPIRATION
People watch as a Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 piloted by Capt. Dan Deluce, an instructor at 410 Tactical Fighter Squadron in Cold Lake, Alta., takes off from Boundary Bay Airport, in Delta, B.C., on Sunday. The CF-18 departed for a flypast of the Vancouver Island communities of Nanaimo, Parksville, Tofino and Victoria as part of the RCAF's Operation Inspiration, which began in 2020 but was cut short after a fatal Snowbirds crash in Kamloops.
