MARYPOPPINOMICS? REALLY?

Ottawa Sun - - COMMENT -

Sadly, yes sadly, I read an article titled The Failure of MaryPoppinomics.

Only someone from CBC, in this case, Don Pittis, would analyze Mary Poppins, pretty much to death, and include “big” words such as lexicological and semaphored in the analysis. Pittis wrote “the new version is a wasted teaching opportunity”.

I saw the new Mary Poppins with my grandchildren, ages 5 and 8. I can tell Pittis right now that none of us, including me, paid that much attention to what was going on in the bank.

Here’s my advice to Pittis and everyone else at CBC: The new Dumbo will be out soon. I suggest they stay home. JILL YOUNG OTTAWA

(Pittis made mention that magical Mary Poppins tells everyone to just smile and stop worrying. Guess he didn’t take her advice.)
