BRUCE RABY
As a photography enthusiast, Bruce says there are several points he keeps in mind while shooting images including: take enough pictures and you’re bound to get a good one; if you don’t like your images, move closer to the subject; it’s not what you’re looking at that’s important, it’s what you see; and finally, less is more. He obviously employed all of those tactics in his photo essay Shooting Stars on page 8. In pursuing his passion, Bruce says the best thing he’s done so far is join the Lanark County Camera Club in his hometown of Perth, Ont., as the club provides a wonderful atmosphere and great learning opportunities.
