JOANNE CULLEY
Joanne Culley is a voracious reader and writer, with a Masters of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto and a graduate certificate in creative writing from the Humber School for Writers. Her work has appeared in the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Legion Magazine, Our Canada and Zoomer, as well as in several anthologies. She has published two books to date, Love in the Air: Second World War Letters and Claudette on the Keys. She is a recipient of an “In Celebration of Women” media award. In Showcase on page 26, Joanne pays tribute to her grandparents, Ida and Harry Culley, who built quite the life together as a singing, piano-playing duo during the heyday of broadcast radio.
