QUEBEC’S DAVID DROUIN RECEIVES FOUR-YEAR SANCTION
In March, the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport announced that David Drouin from Saint-Prosper, Que. received a four-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during an out-of-competition doping control on Dec. 4, 2016, revealed the presence of SARM RAD-140, a prohibited anabolic agent. Drouin admitted the violation and filed an unsuccessful appeal to reduce the ban.
