Merckx Sallanches 64
Sallanches is the name of the French town in which Eddy Merckx won the 1964 Amateur World Championships, hence the name of this Merckx Endurance model. The Sallanches 64 has a comfortable ride due to its relaxed geometry and wide wheelbase, yet handling is unaffected, as it still has an agile feel. Merckx stocks this frame with Shimano’s reliable Ultegra groupset and sturdy aluminum RS010 wheels. Deda provides the cockpit with an ergonomically shaped aluminum handlebar. The SRP is $4,330.
