Playoff fever on ball fields

It’s playoff time in the Penticton (Co-Ed) Slo-Pitch League.

Regular season play wrapped up in all four divisions on Thursday.

Family Tree Care Arboricult­ure Dirtbags (Div. 1), Kekumbas (Div. 2), McFierce (Div. 3) and Gartner’s Bobcats (Div. 4) came out on top in the regular season standings.

Each division now splits into two to make it eight separate divisions for the double-knockout playoffs, several of which begin tonight. The playoffs continue until the finals, which will be played June 19-21.

Here is a look at the schedule for the first games in each division:

Div. 1A: Lancaster Lightning vs. #teamatticu­s, tonight, 6:30 p.m., Mullins Field.

Div. 1B: Clancy’s Cariboozer­s vs. Wise Guys, Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., Mullins Field.

Div. 2A: Tonight – Beach City Ballers vs. Sons of Pitches, 6:30 p.m., Lion’s Park; Caught Looking vs. Arnie’s Army, 8 p.m., Lion’s.

Div. 2B: Tuesday – OCC Bighorns vs. Brew Jays, 6:30 p.m., Lion’s; Konanz Chiropract­ic vs. Mad Dogs, 8 p.m., Lion’s.

Div. 3A: Clancy’s Pitch Slap vs. Kids in the Hall, tonight, 6:30 p.m., Parkway.

Div. 3B: Smoking Bats vs. Breaking Balls, Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., Parkway.

Div. 4A: Booster Juice Bandits vs. Valley First One Hit Wonders, tonight, 6:30 p.m., Skaha Lake Park.

Div. 4B: Skaha Ford vs. Crickets, Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., Skaha.
