Okanagan Modern evolved from the Wilden building guidelines that require a minimum of three different exterior wall treatments to focus on natural elements.
The home design team — Jeremy Newell, Mullins Design Group, Jenish and Uprise Design — blended classical craftsmen features with contemporary elements such as low roof pitches and wide overhangs, shed and flat roof sections, stucco and architectural panels.
The new look is more modern with cleaner lines, yet still integrates classic Wilden features such as the large front porches and entry doors that create a welcoming façade within all Wilden neighbourhoods.
