Not supportive of Denesiuk values

-

Dear editor: By claiming her values as Liberal values and suggesting they are Canadian values, as if those that don’t align with her are unCanadian, Connie Denesiuk continues the hateful tribalism of Harper, Trump, Trudeau Jr. and Sr.

Not her intention to do so? Then clearly she doesn’t think, which shows her as unfit for office, especially as she embraces bankrupt Liberal tribalism as opposed to bankrupt Conservative tribalism. Patrick Longworth

Penticton will not take donations to their campaigns. When questioned were willing to listen, learn and offer logical, innovative solutions. Contact them, meet them, they are seriously impressive. For financial smarts: Frank Regehr, fb.com/frankforpenticton. This council candidate has the knowledge to look at the books and know what is working and what is not and how to do it better. We need someone with that financial expertise.

Doug Maxwell, 250-490-5041, is another council candidate. He understands the need to take it slow, to consider the entire population and their diverse needs and has a connection to the blue-collar worker.

Marie Prior, marieprior7@gmail.com. Experience as a counsellor with the ability to solidify city programs to address our social problems, interest in the arts and who also understands finances.

The choices we all make will determine the financial stability, the look, health, livability and feel of all areas of this town.

It’s not easy. Lynn Crassweller Penticton
