Summerland playing ‘Sturling’ on Fridays

The game of “Sturling” is rocking the house at the Summerland Curling Club on Fridays this season.

Sturling is a one-hour game with two curlers on each team.

In the first week of action on Oct. 19 (first draw), Hector Cartier and Flo Stelmack defeated Ken Lefebvre and Marlene Brown, John Gregg and Gail Olstaficiu­k def. Mike Karpan and Carol Cole, Nancy Mullin and Terry LeSarge def. Marion Enns and Norm Cole, and Barb Ezart and Loretta Rosza tied Helen Reimer and Marilyn Cahoon.

Second draw: John Gregg and Gail Olstaficiu­k def. Hector Cartier and Flo Stelmack, Marion Enns and Norm Cole def. Mike Karpan and Carol Cole, Ken Lefebvre and Marlene Brown def.
