And now for some good news

-

Dear editor: Oh my goodness. I’ve been reading the letters to the editor and I must say they make me feel dreary.

Once again I am out to make you feel excited, upbeat and happy. How you ask? With music.

One of the great songs we sing is, “All God’s Creatures Have a Place in the Choir,” and that is what is going to happen at the seventh annual Choral Extravaganza’s Celebration in Song. Over 300 voices will be singing together on Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. in the Penticton United Church. How could you not be excited?

This will be an incredible concert, showcasing our very own local talent and all for a good cause as money raised will be used to help a local charity. So many people come together to produce an evening of wonderful upbeat entertainment. Singing together brings us a joy that will fill the hearts and beings of all those who choose to join us as an audience.

Whatever you do, don’t miss the Extravaganza. It is the doorway to Christmas. Alice DeRoche Penticton
