AlleyCATS banks on Valley First

-

Imagine the surprise when AlleyCATS Alliance was contacted to receive a $500 donation from the Penticton branch of Valley First Credit Union through its Lead Well program.

Penticton employee Kyria Howard had participated in the Lead Well program, which enables employees to positively impact their communities by providing them with three days each year to volunteer with local non-profits. Howard chose AlleyCATS Alliance to be the recipient of her award.

AlleyCATS Alliance has been working with the feral and abandoned cats of the Okanagan since 2012, trapping feral/wild cats living in colonies, transporting to vets for health checks and to be spayed or neutered.

Any kittens or socialized cats are removed to be adopted into loving families.
