Town hall on ‘Green New Deal’ set for June 5 in Kelowna

Canada’s version of a Green New Deal will be the topic of a town-hall meeting June 5 in Kelowna.

The event, from 6 to 9 p.m., is being organized by Green Okanagan, a local non-profit organization focused on sustainability, and sponsored and hosted at the Okanagan coLab, 201-1405 St. Paul St.

It’s one of more than 150 town halls planned across Canada.
