- By Dan Walton

Tyler Hubbard from Florida Georgia Line is headlining this year’s Demin on the Diamond in Kelowna.

“This chart-topping sensation, known for his electrifying stage presence, will be playing his Florida Georgia Line hits, along with his own

No. 1 hits ‘5 Foot 9’, ‘Dancin’ In The Country,’ and more ensuring a Saturday night of chart-topping singalongs,” according to a release from the festival.

Up-and-coming Nashville stars on the bill include Matt Schuster, and Alli Walker.

“To keep the energy up between sets and ensure a memorable concert experience, DJ VAVO will be remixing country beats all night long.”

It’s a weekend-long event, and all that happens on Saturday. Opening night will exclusively feature female acts. Co-headliners will be K.Flay and Bishop Briggs. Opening acts include Jamie Fine and LOLO.

Icelandic blues rock band KALEO is the main attraction on Sunday. The final day’s lineup also includes Oji-Cree singer-songwriter Aysanabee, and blues rockers Mo Lowda & the Humble from Philadelphia.

And there are still more names to come.

“We’re thrilled to bring Denim on the Diamond back to City Park for another year of incredible music and unforgettable moments,” Mitch Carefoot of Thick as Thieves Entertainment said in a media release.

“This year’s lineup is a testament to the diverse and dynamic nature of the music scene, and we can’t wait to see the crowd rocking their denim attire and enjoying this memorable weekend.”

Beyond music, attendees can browse vendors and enjoy interactive installations.

“Okanagan music fans have grown this festival into an impressive three days of internationally-renowned artists,” Kurt Jory of Thick as Thieves Entertainment said in the release.

“We are striving to provide world class entertainment at a great price and our events have become a gathering place for community members.”

Demin on the Diamond 2024 is happening Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 at City Park. Singe day tickets are $79 to $99 and weekend passes cost $249.
