Buy a Smile Cookie at Tims and help the OSNS

-

The OSNS Legacy Foundation in partnership with Tim Hortons South Okanagan is thrilled to announce the return of Smile Cookie Week, taking place from now until May 5.

During this week-long event, Tim Hortons guests across Canada can purchase Smile Cookies with 100 percent of the proceeds supporting local charities and community groups.

This is the fourth year the South Okanagan Tim Hortons locations will support the future stability of the OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre by contributing to the OSNS Legacy Foundation. Funds will go towards a $250,000 pledge the Stawarz Family, owner operators of Tim Hortons South Okanagan, have made to the OSNS Legacy Foundation.

“Partnering with the Tim Hortons South

Okanagan team is such an honour for all of us at the OSNS Legacy Foundation and OSNS,” said Megan Windeler, community engagement lead with the OSNS Legacy Foundation

“Their teams do such fantastic work to promote cookie sales and help drive fundraising. We are beyond grateful for the support this campaign provides to help ensure OSNS programs and services continue well into the future”.

The drive-thrus and interior are brightly decorated promoting the Smile Cookie campaign as staff politely suggest ordering one of the cookies.

Tim Hortons has been raising funds for local charities for more than 25 years. Last year, Tim Hortons restaurants raised a record breaking $19.7 million for local charities and community groups -- an incredible accomplishment contributing to the Smile Cookie legacy of over $111 million raised since the program’s inception.

New for Smile Cookie Week this year is the confetti cookie -- be sure to try this delicious flavor for $2 plus tax.

“We are delighted to announce our renewed partnership with OSNS to support the important work they do through the Legacy Foundation,” said Nicole MacMillan of the Stawarz Family, owner and operator of South Okanagan Tim Hortons.

“Our teams are enthusiastic and eager to exceed last year’s fundraising achievements. This year we are urging our compassionate community to consider pre-purchasing bulk orders to amplify our impact. For additional details, please contact your local Tim Hortons to share a smile and support the OSNS Legacy Foundation.”

To help raise funds for the OSNS Legacy Foundation and OSNS, Tim Hortons welcomes the community to visit and purchase Smile Cookies from any of the restaurants located in Summerland, Penticton, Oliver and Osoyoos.
