Impressive line-up for upcoming Long Day’s Night concerts

All Long Day's Night concerts are at the big-top tent on the Windscape Field.

To start off this amazing festival on June 21st we have The Dead South! They have been described as outlaws and modern hillbillies, but the best way to describe this Regina-based band is fearless. They’re a rare musical commodity – a band that’s equally compelling on record as they are on stage. Tickets $35.

Come boogie with us June 22 to Vancouver based The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer. These relentless touring artists known for their highenergy, sweaty, dance-floor-boogying performances. Tickets $35.

Opening the show will be Swift Current’s The Moon Runners: musical astronauts playing scientist rock. Pedal boards stretch-out like launch pads and the rhythms add up to math equations. It’s fearless, complex and reckless.

Make sure you wear your comfy shoes on June 23rd for Vancouverbased Five Alarm Funk. Eight men strong and over a decade deep into a career, they have release six acclaimed albums and burnt up stages across the country on six national tours. This vehicle isn’t about to slow down. In fact, Five Alarm Funk is just picking up steam.

Opening for Five Alarm Funk are The Steadies, a high energy power trio from Saskatoon, who mix pop-rock and dubfunk with rock steady beats and reggae influences, creating their own genre, "island rock".

Lastly, on June 24, join us for Terra Lightfoot! Drawing from rock, soul and blues, Terra Lightfoot is a monster talent that will be gracing the Long Day's Night stage to close out the festival. With a fantastic live show, you don’t want to miss your chance to see this rising Canadian talent.

With the local Black Bridge Brewery providing draught beer there are no reasons to stay home. A limited number of Festival Passes cost $125 for all four nights. Mark your calendar and come out this June 21– 24 to enjoy all the prairies has to offer at Long Day’s Night Music Festival.
