Plaid team takes first at annual Ranchman’s rodeo

The Swift Current Agricultur­al and Exhibition Associatio­n and the barns at Kinetic Park were busy at the annual Ranchman’s & Junior Stockman’s Show September 29-30.

Whether you were from the city or the country – here was an opportunit­y to witness and be a part our Western heritage through ranching events, Livestock events and good old fashioned country fun. All who attended had an opportunit­y to witness traditiona­l ranching and farming community life as it was in the past, and continues to be practised today - a true celebratio­n of our Western Culture the Weekend featured,

Heavy Horse, Stock Dogs, Livestock Pen show and Junior Stockmans Show.

A huge thank you goes out to all the sponsors, volunteers and participan­ts. Be sure to take a look at the list winning local cowgirl and cowboys.
