Prairie Post (East Edition) - - Swift Current - CONTRIBUTED

Unapologetically himself, JJ Shiplett, the Alberta born singer-songwriter and performer is bold in range and musical creativity, with a passion and reverence for the art of music and performance that has captured the attention of all music fans across the country.

Shiplett’s music can be found on the Top Country Charts. Earlier this year, Shiplett received a nomination for Canadian Country Music Association for Roots Artist of The Year.

A troubadour whose songs resonate with emotional sincerity and an underdog's enduring hope, he pens anthemic songs that make you believe in something in this hard world, and others that convince you to soak it all in whiskey 'n' wine and just go dancin'. Shiplett’s music is all heart: convincing, compelling, and resonant. Come check out JJ Shiplett and his band.

Tickets for the Saturday, November 3rd show are $40 and are available at Pharmasave. Doors at the Lyric Theatre will open at 7:30pm and the music starts at 8:30pm. Blenders thanks Pharmasave for sponsoring this show.
