The following is a synopsis of calls for service by the Swift Current RCMP Municipal Detachment for the dates indicated:

2018-0CTOBER-12

4:35 PM - Report of a suicidal individual. The subject was located by police and taken to the hospital for assessment.

4:52 PM - Report of threats being uttered. Officers were able to determine nothing criminal had taken place.

8:24 PM - Report of a theft from a business on the 300 block of Central Avenue N. Officers attended the location and arrested an adult male who denied stealing anything from the business. At this time no criminal charges have been laid. This matter is still under investigat­ion.

9:36 AM - 911 call of a damaged window to a business on the O block of 1st Avenue N.E. No entry was gained to the business. This matter is still under investigat­ion.

11:03 AM -911 call of an intoxicate­d male who left a business on the 200 block of Cheadle Street Win a red Dodge Ram after attempting to purchase a vehicle. Officers located the male in his truck and determined he was not impaired by alcohol.

2:44 PM - Report of found drug parapherna­lia at a dwelling unit on the 500 block of 2nd Avenue N.E. Officers attended the location and seized the item.

4:45 PM - Report of a male going to the washroom behind a commercial dwelling unit on the 1100 block of South Service Road E. The caller was afraid to return to their room. The male was described as caucasian, wearing jeans and believed to be in his 20's and driving a black Ford Mustang. No plate number was obtained by the caller. Officers made patrols of the area but were not able to locate any persons or vehicles matching the descriptio­n provided.

6: 18 PM - Report of an agitated male patient threatenin­g staff at a location on the 2000 block of Saskatchew­an Drive. Officers attended and assisted the staff with their patient.

9:09 PM - Report of a male standing in the street screaming on the 100 block of Central Avenue N. Officers attended and calmed the male down who advised he was on his way home.

11 :32 PM -911 call of a possible impaired driver on the 100 block of Central Avenue N. The male was described as in his 20's with blonde hair and had been seen getting into a blue Dodge half ton. Officers made patrols of the area but did not locate the vehicle.

11 :49 PM - While on patrol officers stopped a red Ford Edge for failing to stop at a red light. The male driver was charged under the Traffic Safety Act.

12:22 PM - Report of a two-vehicle collision on 2nd Avenue S.E. and Gladstone Street. A black GMC Terrain failed to stop at an intersecti­on crashing into a blue Honda CR-V. No one was injured as a result of the collision. The female driver of the Terrain was charged under the Traffic Safety Act.

2:00 PM - Report of a female youth who had entered a location on the 1600 block of Springs Drive twice with someone attempting to purchase alcohol and was refused. The female was then witnessed exchanging money with a third person outside that was believed to be purchasing alcohol for her. Officers attended the location, but the female had left prior to officer arrival.

2:44 PM - Report of a red Saturn Vue leaving a business on the 400 block of North Service Road E. without paying for their fuel. The owner of the vehicle was contacted who advised there had been issued with the pay pad and had thought the payment went through. The owner advised she would make sure the fuel bill was paid.

5:50 PM - Report of harassing text messages. This matter is still under investigat­ion.

7:32 PM - Report of a possibly suicidal individual. Officers attended the residence and spoke to the individual who had no plans of self harm sand was just having a bad day.
