Safe Ride Home cam­paign un­der­way in Swift Cur­rent thanks to cab com­pany, three li­censed es­tab­lish­ments

The Drug Strat­egy Ac­tion Com­mit­tee along with Buf­falo Brew Pub, City Wide Cabs, Orig­i­nal Joe’s and Lucky Char­lie’s is launch­ing a Safe Ride Home Cam­paign on Nov. 30 and Satur­day, Dec 1.

These dates are in con­junc­tion with Na­tional Ad­dic­tions Aware­ness Week.

They share a com­mon goal in our de­sire to en­sure the safety of pa­trons and the gen­eral pub­lic through par­tic­i­pa­tion in ini­tia­tives that in­crease aware­ness of the dan­gers of drink­ing and driv­ing, en­cour­age re­spon­si­ble be­hav­iors and re­duce po­ten­tial risks by pro­mot­ing a safe ride home.

This year, the Safe Ride Home pro­gram is pro­vid­ing free cab fares from City Wide Cabs to and from Buf­falo Brew Pub, Orig­i­nal Joe’s and Lucky Char­lie’s on Thurs­day, No­vem­ber 29 and Fri­day the 30th as well as Satur­day Dec 1st dur­ing the hours of 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
