ALL WORTH IT:
The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Swift Current Branch won the grand prize of $125,000 in iA Financial Group's second annual Canada-wide philanthropic contest. The goal of the contest is to provide financial support to a Canadian charity that works with people living with mental health issues. CMHA Swift Current staff, board members and clients were ecstatic when they learned that their branch was the grand prize winner. They had no idea how much money the branch has won until Catherine Tardif, the iA Financial Group's philanthropy advisor, made the announcement during a visit to Swift Current, Dec. 11. The money will assist the CMHA Swift Current branch to provide additional services and to get closer to the goal of moving to a larger location.
