There were Christmas concerts at a number of schools in the Chinook School Division before the holiday break. Student and staff at Central School in Swift Current were busy during December to prepare for their two concerts. The Grade 1-2 and band concert took place Dec. 13 and the Grade 3-5 and choir concert was held Dec. 20. The Grade 1-2 students performed the musical How the Penguins saved Christmas and the Grade 3-5 students presented the Christmas musical North Pole Diaries. Above: Grade 4 students sing the song Santa wants a brand new Bag during the Dec. 20 Christmas concert at Central School.
