De­ceased male found on #1 High­way iden­ti­fied, help still needed

The de­ceased male has been iden­ti­fied as a 58-yearold man from Metcalfe, On­tario, thanks to in­for­ma­tion shared by the pub­lic.

The Saskatchewan RCMP would like to thank the pub­lic and the me­dia for their as­sis­tance in this mat­ter.

The in­ves­ti­ga­tion re­mains on­go­ing to iden­tify the in­di­vid­ual or in­di­vid­u­als in­volved in this al­leged crime.

In­for­ma­tion sug­gests the de­ceased male was hit be­tween 7 p.m. and 8:15 pm. on Fri­day Jan­uary 4, 2019.

He had grey hair, a large mous­tache and a beard. He was wear­ing nu­mer­ous lay­ers of warm clothes and was car­ry­ing a back-pack and a sleep­ing bag.

Saskatchewan RCMP is ask­ing for in­for­ma­tion from mo­torists who have ob­served ve­hi­cles with no­tice­able dam­age trav­el­ling east­bound on the # 1 High­way around these hours.
