Canada’s P.M. needs to get reality check

-

An easy question, but let’s explore how we got to where we are. Almost from day one, the clouds of Liberal patronage, extravagance and poor management settled in.

Canadians quickly deducted that one Gerald Butts, relatively fresh from inadvertently hurting the Ontario Liberal government from 1999 to 2008, had arrived on the scene. We deducted that Trudeau, armed with little experience about much of anything and short on any learning of consequence, was tied to Mr. Butts. We knew from Butts’ past that he was an avid environmentalist who would zealously stop at nothing to have his way. He had expressed a vivid interest in legalizing marijuana, the expulsion of the entire Liberal senate, the carbon tax and scrapping the Northern Gateway pipeline.

Behaving like a perfect Liberal, he charged the Canadian tax payers for $126,669.56 to pay for his move from Toronto to Ottawa.

Caught like a deer in the headlights, he mumbled an apology and said he would pay back $41,618.62.

Trudeau met Butts at university, and they shared the same passions to save the world at all costs.

Thus, the Butt’s Syndrome evolved immediately and our deficit skyrocketed as they plunged from one screw up to the next ignoring much of anything good for Canadians. On February 12th, 2018, Butts reportedly was heard referring to anyone who had condemned Trudeau’s stupid, off the cuff “people kind” remark as ”nazi.” A perfect example of a continuing trend of one faux pas followed by another in a vain attempt to cover up the first.

Their behaviour and twisted mentality plagued the Liberals repeatedly as they fumbled the ball on nearly everything. A new election system, correcting wrongs with the indigenous, the deficit, pipelines, the arrest of HuaWai executive, Meng and the carbon tax, not to mention five Veteran’s affairs Ministers in three years.

Then came the SNC Lavalin debacle! SNC Lavalin is notorious for bribery and illegal political contributions to buy work. Already convicted, and going to trial on more. The World Bank had barred them from bidding for ten years.

Liberals snuck in a new law inside hundreds of pages on an Omnibus Budget Bill, and used their majority to pass it, thus hoping they could then allow SNC Lavalin to not be prosecuted under a “Deferred Prosecution Agreement” and continue to bid on Canadian jobs. They even concocted a story that SNC would leave Canada, full knowing that it was impossible given that they were bound to a seven-year deal in Quebec and a 20-year lease on their headquarters.

All to buy Liberal votes in Quebec. It was obvious that the jobs they claimed would be saved by letting their friends at SNC off the hook, would always be available anywhere in Canada from any of 500 other construction companies! Their sham was obvious as they ignored the 100,000 jobs lost in Western Canada and 40,000 more in Oshawa.

The then Auditor General, Jody Wilson- Raybould, did the proper thing and upheld the prosecutor’s decision to not allow SNC off the hook. The Butts, Trudeau team then, as a reprisal, ruthlessly fired her and mugged her from explaining what really happened.

Showing no end to their cover up, they blatantly rigged the majority Liberal Justice Committee to kill the investigation. Jody resigned from the Liberal caucus in disgust. To slight her even more, they offered her the Indigenous portfolio, full knowing she had said she would never do anything to further the Indian Act. Next, they dumped her into Veteran’s Affairs and she resigned again. Butts then resigned, claiming he has done nothing wrong in a desperate, vain attempt to avoid criminal prosecution and allow the Liberals to claim it was all just a misunderstanding.

M.P. Jane Philpott, then sided with Jody, making the Liberal farce look even worse. Trudeau totally went off the board and attacked another of his female M.P’s Celina Caesar Chavannes, fearing her public announcement that she would not run in the next election, would add more damage to his crumbling credibility.

Meanwhile, Trudeau appointed his “yes Man”, David Lametti as A. G. knowing he could still ram the deal through for his friends at SNC. The supposed to be totally independent, Clerk of the Privy Council, Michael Wernick was twice paraded before the Liberal rigged Justice Committee, obviously a diehard Liberal. He appeared a little unsure even contradicting himself and only made things worse. Butts appeared a second time with more vague offtopic babble. All while Jody was still not allowed to give her second half of her story.

Another nail in the coffin also materialized, as both the Lawyers for Meng and the Chinese government rightfully questioned why political interference with the rule of law was somehow OK. for SCN Lavalin but not for Meng.

This all the while he has claimed he has done nothing wrong.
