Thefts; mis­chief in Swift Cur­rent

On April 7 at ap­prox­i­mately 12:55 a.m., two male sus­pects stole tires from a busi­ness on the 1800 block of South Ser­vice Road in Swift Cur­rent, SK. The tires are val­ued at ap­prox­i­mately $1,700.

Sus­pect #1 De­scrip­tion: Male, Black Pants, Black Hoodie, white shoes.

Sus­pect #2 De­scrip­tion: Male, Blue Jeans, Green coat, white shoes.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion about this or any other crime are asked to con­tact the Swift Cur­rent RCMP, your near­est po­lice ser­vice or Crime Stop­pers.

Saskatchew­an Crime Stop­pers will pay up to $2,000.00 for in­for­ma­tion which leads to an arrest or charge of per­son(s) re­spon­si­ble for this of­fence or any other se­ri­ous crime.


Dur­ing March, 2019, the Swift Cur­rent Mu­nic­i­pal RCMP De­tach­ment re­sponded to sev­eral com­plaints of ve­hi­cle thefts / at­tempted thefts and thefts from parked ve­hi­cles. Some ve­hi­cles were dam­aged due to sus­pects try­ing to “hot wire” the ve­hi­cles. These ma­jor­ity of the in­ci­dents oc­curred north of North Rail­way Street East in Swift Cur­rent.

Po­lice want to re­mind the pub­lic to lock their ve­hi­cles and not keep any valu­ables in­side their ve­hi­cles as sev­eral of the ve­hi­cles en­tered had been left un­locked.
