Things that go bump in the night and federal fallacies

- DALE FERREL

The Liberals must be having mass nightmares of passed deeds coming back to haunt them. Never in Canadian political history has a governing party racked up more unfathomable demons for press coverage for weekly gaffs. Sadly, their Justin Trudeau permeates the pigheaded mentality of a lost child; much like the ancient legend of King Canute who stood on the sea shore trying to command the tides.

When one appears devoted to corrupted illusions and grants himself allsurpassing power in a democracy, he is destined to experience gnawing perplexities.

The people he lords it over start to push back, infuriated by the tormenting, distorted deceptions, the lies and the smug responses to any criticism!

One province after the other implicitly, with full blown enthusiasm, have chosen Conservative governments.

Each, challenging the lack of efficacy and embarrassing puny, antics of the Liberals and NDP.

The entire Trudeau and Butts circus, suffers on. Canada lost 7,200 jobs on March and the unemployed neared 6%. Over 10,300 Canadians succumbed to opioids in less than three years while Trudeau remained focused on selling pot. His 10 Service Canada call Centres dropped over three million requests for assistance last year, while he assured Canadians that he really cared about our needs.

The Minister of the environment, who continues to display the dexterity of a bull in a China shop, continues to parrot her twisted vision of her much hated carbon tax. She then announced a $12 million hand out to Loblaws to upgrade their refrigerators. Yes, the same Loblaws involved in the price fixing scheme on bread; the company with $800 million in profits last year

Why, if the Liberals really believe their own propaganda, do they continue to dole out over $1 1/2 billion for fossil fuel subsidizes?

Why do they slam Alberta oil while ignoring the millions of gallons of raw sewage polluting our rivers, lakes and oceans?

Why is it O.K. for ships to bring offshore dirty oil up the St. Lawrence but ships carrying Alberta oil and gas can’t move up and down the B.C. coast?

And why can’t we get any logical answers on those issues?

Alberta and other Western provinces are starting to behave more like Quebec. And why not, if that has worked for Quebec for decades.

The many unfair atrocities imposed on us are now going to be challenged, as they should be. The very unequal “equalization payments” used to buy votes down East will be challenged. The “rules” imposed on us that are overlooked for the rest of Canada will be challenged!

And the hippies in B.C may have to do without Alberta oil and gas until they realize that “life is a two way street.”

The persons vain enough to buy in the Liberal’s skewed ideas are falling by the wayside in droves. I expect the momentum in that regard to rapidly increase as Trudeau ejects the good and barricades himself with the inadequate left-overs.

Five provinces have now launched either intervening or full court challenges to the “Carbon Tax.”

Believe me there will be more to come. King Justin is under siege, as he should be.
