Work­shop for land man­age­ment pro­fes­sional takes place from 9 a.m.3:30 p.m. at the Val Marie Com­mu­nity Hall/Palais Royal Theatre.

The Prairie Park­land Chap­ter of the So­ci­ety For Range Man­age­ment is of­fer­ing a spring work­shop to help you "Get Back to the Field". This work­shop is an op­por­tu­nity for pro­fes­sion­als in­volved in land man­age­ment to brush up on plant iden­ti­fi­ca­tion and eco­log­i­cal health as­sess­ment tech­niques. Top­ics in­clude: plant iden­ti­fi­ca­tion and eco­log­i­cal health as­sess­ment.

This work­shop pro­vides im­por­tant skills to pro­fes­sion­als in­volved with: Agri­cul­tural Ex­ten­sion, En­vi­ron­men­tal As­sess­ment, Species at Risk, Wa­ter­shed Groups, Wildlife Habi­tat Man­age­ment and Ri­par­ian Man­age­ment.
