Prairie Post (East Edition) - - Swift Current -

The Art of Creative Preaching, was released at a book launch and signing event at Urban Ground Coffeehouse, May 9. The 20 chapters will be of interest to preachers who want to be more creative in their sermon writing and delivery, but the book is also aimed at a wider audience. It will appeal to anyone who enjoys reading imaginative and inspiring sermons. Friesen was a preacher for about 40 years, and the last 20 years he was a pastor at two Swift Current area congregations. He retired recently as a preacher, but still works as a mediator and now dedicates more time to his passion for writing. His second book about finding meaning and courage on life's pilgrimage will soon be submitted to his publisher and he has already started to work on his third book.
