Brooks Town Centre Customer Appreciati­on BBQ – 25th Anniversar­y: Join us for a customer appreciati­on barbecue to celebrate our 25th anniversar­y at Veterans Centennial Park, which is located right next to City Hall. The over 70 businesses in Brooks Town Centre would like to thank our many customers for their support. Please join us for an evening of fun and entertainm­ent. The Parkinson SuperWalk will be held on Saturday from the Great Room at the Riverview Village Estates. Check in from 10 am to 11am, Opening ceremonies and the walk will start at 11 am, followed by lunch, raffles and prizes. Come join this family event and support those with Parkinson’s disease. Challenge yourself ! Come and learn to play Mahjong at the Swift Current Branch Library every Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. Mahjong is a tile-based game that originated in China. The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols and is similar to the card game Rummy. This program is beginner friendly, but also fun for avid players as well. Brooks Show n’ Shine takes place at Centennial Regional Arena (144071 Silver Sage Road). A two day show that includes a show and shine, a cruise night, live music, door prizes, vendors, rear wheel dyno and more! New this year, on Friday night there will be a Drive-In Theatre (weather permitting)!
