The City of Swift Cur­rent has of­fi­cially pro­claimed Sept. 1-7 as SaskAbilit­ies Aware­ness Week in the city. A flag rais­ing cer­e­mony took place at City Hall in recog­ni­tion of this procla­ma­tion, Sept. 3. The speak­ers dur­ing the flag rais­ing event were Swift Cur­rent Mayor Denis Per­rault and Cypress Hills-Grass­lands MP David An­der­son.
