CEL­E­BRAT­ING THE COM­MON­WEALTH AT RALSTON

Ralston School par­tic­i­pated in Com­mon­wealth Day with BATUS on Mon­day, March 9. The stu­dents were asked to dress in Com­mon­wealth coun­tries Cloth­ing. Stu­dents at the school come from United King­dom, Ire­land, Fiji, Canada, Uganda, Ghana. There are 54 coun­tries, in­clud­ing Canada, within the Com­mon­wealth. The Com­mon­wealth be­gan on De­cem­ber 11, 1931. On Mon­day, Stu­dents sang "To­gether" we were able to taste food from Fiji, Uganda, UK, South Africa. The Stu­dents en­joyed tast­ing foods from other Coun­tries. LEFT: Grade 3 Stu­dents dressed up for Com­mon­wealth Day.
