Dead­line for CYL ap­proaches

The Cat­tle­men’s Young Lead­ers (CYL) Men­tors Pro­gram is still ac­cept­ing ap­pli­ca­tions for the 20202021 pro­gram year!

Young peo­ple ages 18-35 from across Canada with a pas­sion for the beef in­dus­try can ap­ply for the chance to be paired with a men­tor in their spe­cific area of in­ter­est in the beef sec­tor, as well as par­tic­i­pate in unique travel ex­pe­ri­ences and ex­cep­tional peer and stake­holder net­work­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties.

From the ap­pli­ca­tions submitted from across Canada, 24 semi-fi­nal­ists are cho­sen to com­pete for a spot in the pro­gram dur­ing the se­lec­tion process hosted an­nu­ally at the Cana­dian Beef In­dus­try Con­fer­ence. Semi-fi­nal­ists will win an all-ex­pense paid trip to at­tend the con­fer­ence be­ing held in Pen­tic­ton, BC this Au­gust. This year also marks a mile­stone for the CYL Pro­gram cel­e­brat­ing its 10-year an­niver­sary, where over 140 young

Cana­dian beef en­thu­si­asts have come through the pro­gram since it was es­tab­lished in 2010.
