WEBINAR: Feeding Growth 2020: Enhancing Your Open Farm Days Experience - Learn how you can get the most out of Alberta Open Farm Days, and understand how to grow and promote your farm hosting experience­s. Join the Open Farm Days team to explore local marketing, media and culinary for a full day of exploratio­n and discussion around creating exceptiona­l experience­s for your visitors. In the morning, we will explore adding culinary events to your farm, from small samplings to long table events. Learn the ins and outs of planning your event from the experts. The morning will wrap up with an Ask a Chef session so you can get answers to your questions directly from a chef to explore and understand how to activate your farm event. The afternoon will shift over to savvy marketing strategies and insights on social media and digital marketing, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This event is open to farms, communitie­s and anyone interested in developing agri-tourism. Sean McCann Community Performanc­e is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. at the Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre. Tickets can be purchased for $30 each and are available through Eventbrite. As a founding member of renowned Newfoundla­nd band Great Big Sea – Sean McCann has sold over 2 million albums and travelled the world making every night of the week a Saturday night! Sean will be performing as part of the Rural Mental Health Conference and will also take the stage for a community event.
