Join the Open Farm Days team to explore local marketing, media and culinary for a full day of exploration and discussion around creating exceptional experiences for your visitors. In the morning, we will explore adding culinary events to your farm, from small samplings to long table events. Learn the ins and outs of planning your event from the experts. The morning will wrap up with an Ask a Chef session so you can get answers to your questions directly from a chef to explore and understand how to activate your farm event. The afternoon will shift over to savvy marketing strategies and insights on social media and digital marketing, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This event is open to farms, communities and anyone interested in developing agri-tourism. The Good Tyme Dance Club’s monthly dance is on April 18 at Walker Place, 2150 Walker St, Swift Current. Join us at 8 – 11 pm to dance to the Harry Startup from Moose Jaw. Cash bar. Coffee and a light lunch served after the dance. All are Welcome!

Sean McCann Community Performance is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. at the Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre. Tickets can be purchased for $30 each and are available through Eventbrite. As a founding member of renowned Newfoundland band Great Big Sea – Sean McCann has sold over 2 million albums and travelled the world making every night of the week a Saturday night! Sean will be performing as part of the Rural Mental Health Conference and will also take the stage for a community event.
