October 19-Swift Current

The First United Church Garage Sale and 3rd Avenue Boutique will be accepting donations on the following Mondays only,

19th and 26th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Sales will start on Wednesday, October 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Masks are mandatory. A limited number of people will be allowed in each room. Please bring your own bags. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. (Used clothing and items in good repair only please).

October 23-Foremost

The Foremost Municipal Library Board is hosting a week-long, online auction in lieu of its annual Pumpkin Auction night. That auction will be held fro Oct. 30-Nov. 6 but donations must be received by Oct. 23. Cash donations can be sent by mail or via email to forlib@shortgrass. ca or direct donations though the library website or the the auction website (Auctria).

October 24-25-Brooks

The Brooks Gun Show will be taking place at the JBS Canada Centre and will feature a display of guns, knives, shooting supplies, collector items, items for archery, fishing supplies, custom handmade cabinets, wild game jerky and much more. All provincial firearm ordinances and laws must be obeyed. The event will run from 10 am-5 pm on Sat., Oct. 24 and from 10 am-3 pm on Oct. 25. October 27-Southwest Sask.

Community Cultural Gathering (On-Line October 27). The South West District for Culture, Recreation and Sport invites you to join profession­als and volunteers in the cultural sector for a virtual day of learning, sharing, fellowship and fun. Virtual doors open at 9:45 a.m. Sessions begin at 10 a.m. and wrap at 3:30 p.m., with a lunch break at Noon.
