October 23-Foremost

The Foremost Municipal Library Board is hosting a week-long, online auction in lieu of its annual Pumpkin Auction night. That auction will be held fro Oct. 30-Nov. 6 but donations must be received by Oct. 23. Cash donations can be sent by mail or via email to forlib@shortgrass.ca or direct donations though the library website or the the auction website (Auctria).

October 24-25-Brooks

The Brooks Gun Show will be taking place at the JBS Canada Centre and will feature a display of guns, knives, shooting supplies, collector items, items for archery, fishing supplies, custom handmade cabinets, wild game jerky and much more. All provincial firearm ordinances and laws must be obeyed. The event will run from 10 a.m-5 p.m on Sat., Oct. 24 and from 10 a.m-3 p.m on Oct. 25. Community Cultural Gathering (OnLine October 27). The South West District for Culture, Recreation and Sport invites you to join professionals and volunteers in the cultural sector for a virtual day of learning, sharing, fellowship and fun. Virtual doors open at 9:45 a.m. Sessions begin at 10 a.m. and wrap at 3:30 p.m., with a lunch break at Noon.
