Alberta youth: Ag for Life wants to ‘Feed Your Future’

Agricultur­e for Life (Ag for Life) and presenting partner Farm Credit Canada (FCC) are proud to present Feed Your Future, an event designed to empower, connect and inspire a network of young women who have an interest in agricultur­e and food production.

Feed Your Future was designed to showcase the many opportunit­ies available in the agricultur­e sector and offer a chance for young females to connect with individual­s in the industry. Thisexciti­ng virtual event is for young women ages 14 and up and will take place on Feb. 3.

The event is free to join and those interested may register on Ag for Life’s website.

Participan­ts will hear from industry leaders and distinguis­hed profession­als as they explore the topics of physical and mental wellness, brand building as well as personal developmen­t in the areas of education and career choices. This will provide profound insight on effective networking and creating meaningful connection­s for personal and profession­al success.

“It is our responsibi­lity to ensure the next generation of young women are educated, inspired and empowered to take on the challenges of the agricultur­e industry”, says Luree Williamson, CEO of Ag for Life. “By providing young women with opportunit­ies to learn and gain mentorship from industry leaders, we are helping them succeed while paving the way for a more diverse and inclusive future in agricultur­e.”
