Wellness In Nature Series will mix painting with mental health wellness

- Contributed

As the world endures the challenges of the past year, many people may find themselves feeling mentally strained. Being immersed in nature is a powerful way to heal our minds and spirits. We aim to utilize that power in our ongoing Wellness in Nature series.

Paint in the Park – Paint a Greeting Card Sunday, June 13, 2021 – 1:00 pm

What better way to spread positivity and promote wellness than to let someone else know you care about them?

We invite people to come paint a greeting card as part of our Wellness in Nature series. Watercolour painting supplies, cards and envelopes will be provided. Participants can relax and be inspired by nature as they paint a card to give to someone special in their life. Age 13+ is recommended for this event and participants are asked to bring their own lawn chair. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are asking interested parties to register by phoning us; space for the event will be limited to 9 people.

Details and event location will be shared with those who register.
