Trudeau and Singh don’t want Alberta to stay in Canada

-

Editor:

It didn’t take long for our sort of freshly minted federal government to vigorously renew its attacks on the oil industry and therefore Alberta. As an Albertan, I get the message. Trudeau/Singh incorporated don’t want Alberta to remain in Canada. Destroying the oil industry is official federal policy. Devastating the Alberta economy and the well being of its citizens is just a bit of collateral damage in the noble and urgent quest to save the world.

Of course, if the oil industry were located in Quebec, the regulations would disappear, pipelines would flourish and government subsidies and support for the oil industry would be the cornerstone of federal government energy policy. If anyone should think this an exaggeration, I have a very prosperous gopher ranch for sale and I’ll let you have it at a real discount.
