Ponteix RCMP detachment investigating theft of photography equipment

On the 18th of June 2022 at approximately 800 pm an area resident had been visiting the Grasslands National Park near the Village of Val Marie, SK capturing photographs of the area’s wildlife. Our Client returned to his parked vehicle at Station #4 near the Frenchman Valley Campground, finding that the rear window had been damaged by a rock which was located in the rear seat. An estimated $35000 of photography equipment had been unlawfully removed.

GREAT PERFORMANCES BY SWIFT CURRENT: The Swift Current ACT/UCT Stingrays Summer Swim Club competed in their first swim meet of the season with a road trip to Humboldt, June 18. This was the club's first swim meet since the summer of 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Swimmers were excited and swam well. The club's gold medal winners at the Humboldt swim meet were Talyah Cuthbert (30 points), Saylor Cuthbert (28 points) and Drew Cuthbert (20 points). Below are the results of swimmers who scored points during the event:
Drew Cuthbert (male 8 and under) – 1st 25m freestyle, 1st 50m freestyle, 1st 50m backstroke, 4th 25m backstroke.
Saylor Cuthbert (female 9-10) – 1st 50m breaststroke, 1st 50m butterfly, 1st 50m backstroke, 1st 100m intermediate, 2nd 50m freestyle.
Talyah Cuthbert (female 11-12) – 1st 50m breaststroke, 1st 50m butterfly, 1st 50m freestyle, 1st 50m backstroke, 1st 100m intermediate.
Lincoln Moffit (male 9-10) – 3rd 50m breaststroke, 3rd 25m breaststroke, 5th 25m freestyle, 5th 50m freestyle. Savannah Moffit (female 8 and under) – 1st 25m breaststroke, 3rd 50m freestyle.
Emma Shipley (female 8 and under) – 2nd 25m butterfly, 3rd 50m backstroke, 4th 25m backstroke.
