BEEFY DONATIONS FROM SASK. STOCKGROWERS:

-

The Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association donated 640 pounds of beef to the food bank in Swift Current, Sept. 20. Sue McKeown, who is the Salvation Army's community and family services worker in Swift Current, said the beef donation will be used for daily hampers at the food bank. The number of food bank clients have increased significantly since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and this beef donation was therefore very welcome. She noted the Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association is a regular donor to the Swift Current food bank, with a donation of beef at least once a quarter. “It's really amazing and we're very grateful,” she said.
