Junior Stockman's Livestock Show another opportunity for young Sask. beef producers

The Junior Stockman’s livestock show took place as part of the annual Ranchman’s Ridin’ & Recitin’ at Kinetic Park in Swift Current, Sept. 24.

Ranchman’s is organized by the Swift Current Agricultural and Exhibition Association to showcase the region’s western heritage. This year’s Ranchman’s was part of the new Frontier Fall Fair, which included cultural entertainment and a bull riding competition.

Junior Stockman’s was an opportunity for participants to show off their showmanship and stock production skills. The show was open to all cattle breeds with division classes for heifer calves, yearling heifers, and pairs.
