Junior Stockman's Livestock Show another opportunit­y for young Sask. beef producers

The Junior Stockman’s livestock show took place as part of the annual Ranchman’s Ridin’ & Recitin’ at Kinetic Park in Swift Current, Sept. 24.

Ranchman’s is organized by the Swift Current Agricultur­al and Exhibition Associatio­n to showcase the region’s western heritage. This year’s Ranchman’s was part of the new Frontier Fall Fair, which included cultural entertainm­ent and a bull riding competitio­n.

Junior Stockman’s was an opportunit­y for participan­ts to show off their showmanshi­p and stock production skills. The show was open to all cattle breeds with division classes for heifer calves, yearling heifers, and pairs.
