Will Trudeau ever get anything right for us?

True to form, another of Justin's brain farts is stinking up reality! Why he and his gang just can't stop introducing untried "rules" for the rest of us never ceases to amaze me. According to them, we must stop using plastic bags to save our environment.

Their complete inability to project the effect of their off the cuff, poorly executed dictates continues non stop as they never seem able to learn from their previous costly mistakes.

A perfect example of the terrible consequences of their actions burst forth when an Ontario couple vented their frustrations.

They have accumulated over 300 Walmart cloth bags from their grocery deliveries from Walmart. over the last 6 months.

If only Trudeau and his dumb and dumber helpers had done even the minimum of homework before they imposed their stupid rules on us they would have found the following :

A York University scientist, Cal Lakhan, was quick to point out that "any" type of reusable bag would have to be repeatedly used many times to offset the harmful to the environment to produce it. That was compared to the use of a plastic bag, which can also be used 5 to 10 times.

The United Nations 2020 study revealed that the following bags would need to used again and again to just break even: Cotton bags - 50 to 100 times

Polypropylene bags, like the Walmart bags - 10 to 20 times Low density poly bags - 5 to 10 times.

Paper bags - 4 to 8 times.

This leave me some further questions:

If somehow one wished to be lucky enough to use the bags, even 5 times without washing them, how much effect does the washing effect the environment?

Does cutting down trees to make pager bags really help the environment?

When was the last time a paper bag survived more than 3 uses? And this one from experience; have you ever tried to carry 10 pounds of items in a paper bag without leaving a trail of goodies in the store, the parking lot, or you vehicle, your driveway or your home?

I rest my case.
